As Saturday gently settled into a sunset across the rolling hills around Cabella yogis began to arrive from all over Europe.

The weekend before Guru Puja saw a gathering of yogis from Europe, Russia and Turkey. They had come to begin the preparations for Guru Puja and many intended to stay for the whole week.

Everyone gathered in the courtyard at the front of Shri Mataji’s castle. First the children entered, bowing before Shri Mataji they sat in silence transformed by Her beauty, their eyes big and round, thoughtless as they looked adoringly at Shri Mataji. The boys received cars, footballs, bows, arrows and skittles and the girls fairy statues and jewellery. As they left their awe became excitement as their attention turned to their toys. Outside in the courtyard there followed the best kids party ever as each child ran around happily, shrieking with pleasure and trying out each other’s toys.

Next the Yuva Shakti entered, the boys received polo shirts and the girls scarves and jewellery. Each scarf was a perfect match for the young lady who received it, complementing either their outfit or their complexion.

The men moved into the great hall and bowed to Shri Mataji, She vibrated everything personally, giving out more polo shirts and very elegant ties. They men were thrilled with their presents and in that moment they were once again transformed into little boys before their mother as She gave them a special gift.

The ladies very quietly entered, all received necklaces and rings. They glowed in their new necklaces and their inner beauty shone in their eyes. All cherished the gift they had been given.

The great doors were again opened and everyone flooded in. The musicians took their positions and began to play. An uplifting Qawwali followed and everyone joined in. They clapped and sang and their hearts soared.

After the music Sir CP said it was up to all the Sahaja Yogis to spread Sahaja Yoga and carry on the great work started by Shri Mataji. Shri Mataji has created a new world of realised souls and now it is our turn to make sure every human being has the opportunity to become united with the Divine and feel Her bliss flow through them.
