In the afternoon of the 17th March 2008 Shri Mataji along with Sir C.P. took a flight from Pune to Nagpur so as to go from there to Chhindwara for the Birthday Puja festivities. Nagpur is the nearest airport to Chhindwara.
The flight was occupied solely by Sahaja Yogis and Yoginis- 171 of us in all. By the time the yogis and yoginis completed their check-in for the flight the airline ground staff started saying 'Jai Shri Mataji' to each one as we boarded the flight.

Shri Mataji and Sir C.P. sat in the very first row and behind were the noticably happy yogis and yoginis, their faces beaming with smiles. Many were seen craning their necks up to catch a glimpse of Shri Mataji even as everyone remained in their seats in discipline. The aircraft took off to the roar of 'Jai Shri Mataji' amongst the yogis after the airline staff were done with their routine demonstrations and announcements.
The yogis distributed water and snacks in the flight in addition to the air hostess' serving their offerings. Soon vibrated water was passed down the aisle and everyone took a little of it and added it to their own bottles of water just provided by the yogis or simply drank it there itself. Vibrated prasad too was passed along. There was so much joy in the flight that took under an hour to reach its destination. Everyone was very happy to be with their Mother in the same flight accompanying Her to Her place of birth for the Birthday Puja celebrations. Mother ascended and descended on a special ramp attached to the front door while all Sahaja Yogis and Yoginis boarded and alighted from the rear door.
The return flight on the 24th of March from Nagpur to Pune was very much as joyful as the onward flight and Shri Mataji can be seen in a different saree in the set of photographs for this article.
